1. Services

BoltByte Hosting provides Minecraft server hosting services on a subscription basis. Services include server hosting on our India-based infrastructure, access to the Pterodactyl game management panel, DDoS protection, automated backups, and 24/7 technical support via Discord.

2. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your panel credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use our services for:

• Hosting illegal content or engaging in illegal activities
• Launching DDoS attacks or any form of network abuse against other parties
• Cryptocurrency mining or any resource-intensive non-gaming workload
• Spamming, phishing, or distributing malware
• Hosting content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Creating excessively large worlds or importing maps beyond allocated storage
• Reselling our services without prior written permission
• Any activity that degrades server performance for other customers

4. Resource Usage

Each plan includes specified RAM, CPU, and storage allocations as listed on our website. Excessive resource consumption that impacts other customers may result in service suspension after a warning. We reserve the right to migrate your server to different infrastructure to maintain overall service quality.

5. Uptime and Service Level

We strive for 99.9% uptime excluding scheduled maintenance. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced at least 24 hours in advance via our Discord server. Service credits may be offered for extended unscheduled downtime at our discretion.

6. Backups

While we provide automated backup functionality, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. We are not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failures, software bugs, or any other cause. We recommend downloading regular backups of your world data.

7. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services without prior notice for violation of these terms, non-payment, illegal activities, or actions that harm our infrastructure or other customers. Upon termination for violations, no refund will be issued.

8. Limitation of Liability

BoltByte Hosting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be announced via our Discord server. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or if necessary, through appropriate legal proceedings in India.

At BoltByte Hosting, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our refund policy carefully before making a purchase decision.

Hosting Plans — 24-Hour Money Back Guarantee

New customers purchasing a Minecraft hosting plan for the first time (via billing.boltbyte.store) are eligible for a full refund within 24 hours of the initial purchase, provided the following conditions are met:

• This is your first hosting purchase with BoltByte
• The refund request is submitted within 24 hours of payment
• The service has not been suspended or terminated for abuse
• You have not previously received a refund from BoltByte

After the 24-hour period, all hosting plan payments are non-refundable. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of our Discord support team to resolve any technical issues before requesting a refund.

Renewals

Subscription renewal charges are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. We recommend setting a reminder before your renewal date. Renewal cancellation requests must be submitted via Discord or the billing portal (billing.boltbyte.store) at least 48 hours before the renewal date.

BoltMC In-Game Purchases

All purchases of Bolt+ Rank, Crate Keys, and other in-game items for BoltMC are final and non-refundable once delivered to your Minecraft account. Digital goods are delivered immediately upon payment confirmation, making them ineligible for refund under Indian consumer protection guidelines for digital goods.

Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion if you experienced a technical issue that prevented delivery of the purchased item. In such cases, we will typically re-deliver the item rather than issue a refund.

How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted through our Discord server (discord.gg/Kv2jfYueKU) by opening a support ticket, or via our billing portal. Please include:

• Your Discord username
• Your Minecraft username (for BoltMC purchases)
• Order/transaction ID if available
• Reason for the refund request

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Service Credits

In lieu of a cash refund, we may offer service credits for future purchases at our discretion. Credits are non-transferable and expire after 90 days.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us through Discord will result in immediate service suspension and potential permanent ban from all BoltByte services. Please contact us first — we are happy to resolve any legitimate issues.
